Is a mobile platform (usually a low, flat base) with casters/wheels underneath. Scenery, furniture, or even small structures are built on top of it so the whole thing can roll smoothly on and off stage (or reposition during a scene). This enables quick, quiet scene changes without manually carrying heavy pieces.
